Look at these faces! How can you not love lambs?
These little beauties have been in the field opposite our house since they were born, so I’ve been able to recognise them and have so enjoyed watching them grow up – they’re incredibly playful and always put a smile on my face.

I find that cooking relaxes me and I can be quite fussy about what I fancy (luckily the Handsome One is easy-going!) and even after a commute of about an hour from work, I always look forward to whipping up supper.
This week it’s all about the vegetarian diet as we’re taking part in National Vegetarian Week, which I’ve really enjoyed so far! I think tonight is going to be a nice chickpea curry, or Mexican stuffed sweet potatoes with black beans and if the weather carries on being as gorgeous as it is, I’m going to be cooking lots of salads!

The morning sound of bird song on a sunny day is enough to make anyone want to jump out of bed and take an early morning walk.
We’re lucky to be surrounded by gorgeous fields, so every morning that I’ve walked Bella over the past couple of weeks, we’ve gone up the ridgeway (the name of the track) to spot skylarks, yellow hammers, chaffinches, buzzards, red kites and much more. There really is no better way to start to the day.

How amazing has the weather been?! The sun makes everything feel so much better and you think it’d make gardening easier, but alas no, and I’ve had a bit of a disaster with my seedlings…
For some reason I really struggle to grow lettuce, which is supposedly really easy, but I find it incredibly difficult and I’ve also killed my tomato seedlings by putting them out in the sun too early. Oh, and my courgette plants didn’t survive the random, cold weather the other weekend. I’m not giving up though! Planted a load more seeds, so fingers crossed…
Here’s a picture of my garlic and gooseberries, which are the only things that seems to be doing well!

These two – they make me smile every single day.
