Spring Days

Oh Spring, you do spoil us with your beautiful blossom, incredible sunrises, longer days, daffodils at every turn, but you do not let us forget that the weather can turn on a whim.

Did anyone else get snow yesterday? On Monday we sat out in the garden, enjoyed a glass of wine, whilst shouting at the horses to stop eating the blossom, as we watched the sun go down and before you know it, the gritters are out and about meaning that the fire has to go on. There’s just no question about it.

The boys are naked now and look so gorgeous without their rugs!

I cannot get over the lambs – they literally melt my heart. We’ve got some just out the front, so I’ve recently been spending a lot longer brushing my teeth and watching them run about chasing each other and leaping in the air! They are just incredible even if it has meant a few additional outfit changes because I’ve dribbled toothpaste on myself…

The garden has started to grow again and it’s making me realise how much there is to do! Not only are all the gorgeous bulbs poking their heads through, the rosemary is producing the most stunning blue flowers and the bluebells are about to make an appearance, but so are the weeds, especially the bloody nettles. I shouldn’t complain too much as they apparently only grow where the soil is good…
