Happy 1st December to each and everyone!
In my opinion, the best month of the year has arrived where we can buy our Christmas trees, decorate our homes, bake to our hearts content, spend time with the people we love, spoil them, enjoy lovely food and pretend that we’re professional cocktail makers! Which in my case is obviously true.. hello (homemade) rhubarb vodka martinis.
Today we’re going to get our Christmas tree, indulge in some mulled cider (I make my own mulling syrup and will share the recipe soon), watch This Christmas and generally spread festive cheer.
Even though the weather is wet, it’s going to be mild but how can you decorate a Christmas tree without the tunes blasting and the fire roaring? Well you can’t, so we’ll have every window in the house open so we don’t melt!
